Tavern at Kregham

You arrive in the woodsman hamlet of Kregham and rush to an obvious place of idle arms and help... The tavern...
Out of the few random gabbing people here 3 stand out (besides the halfing tavern keeper giving you a concerned look)
~~ The half orc in the back is named Barraks, he's a self made town peace-keeper of sorts and is generally a helpful man, the village loves him due to the fact he's always looking out for people, he'd probably be easy to convince to aid you, though he's never really had more then some tavern brawls or commoner peacekeeping under his belt.
~~There's a Dwarf here as well, fairly uncommon as the closest known dwarven clan is over 900miles south of here and 3 domains away... He's giving the shrouded man on the other side of the table a gritty ticked off look, the dwarf looks like he's middle aged for a dwarf, perhaps around 200 years old, and his armor and weapons look like they've seen some action...
~~The shrouded man getting the stink eye from the dwarf doesn't seem to be paying much mind at all to anyone, almost seems as if he's half asleep, two bright green glowing eyes emit from under his hood and you briefly see he's loaded with blades under his garb. Bronze chain armor seems to be casually covered up from sight, you can't get much of a vibe from him at all...

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! ~
Every moment you spent here talking with people and trying to gain aide, someone could be drinking your life investment, ruining you and facing extreme poverty!
~ 2 Actions will be chosen from comments, then you're off to get your wine back, you are a little frantic after all...

I am going to run over to Barraks. he seems to genuinely care about the well being of his townfolk. because of that I hope it will be easy to sway him to my aid.. I explain to him that I was beaten.. my house burned down and ransacked.. and everything I spent my life saving for was taken... I tell him that I need his help.. Im a bit to frantic to worry if other people hear.. though I am concerned.. the man with the green glowing eyes unnerves me... after the half Orc.. im going to run to the dwarf and plead with him and tell my story aswell...

  2. Rather than speak to the orc who's inexperienced and may be needed more so by the town, I decide to approach the dwarf and tell him of my plight. I might also ask curiously why he seems angry with the green eyed glowy guy.

  3. I calmly thank Barraks for taking such good care of the towns people, then take him aside and quietly explain my plight and urgency to him and ask if he can help me find some help to go recover my things. With a few exceptions I would not expect to find good help in the tavern but know that Barraks would know who would be in a position to help.

  4. Everybody knows dwarves are made for fighting an winning, I'll ask for the dwarf's aid and offer him some of the wine as payment for succesful recovery. Also... BEWARE THE MAN IN THE CLOAK, you have been warned.

  5. It would be rather unfortunate for this town to not have a protector around when mischief of some kind occurs in the town every now and then. The dwarf seems like he's not from around these parts and looks very experienced in combat. I shall require his aid for my endeavor.
